Might be a dumb qustion but.. About to install my waterblock for this card, do I need to cut the EK thermal pads like shown in this picture, or can I just use it as a one piece without cutting it? Does cutting the pad make any difference? rolleyes.gif

you dont need to cut the thermal pad, what you need to cut is the hydro copper waterblock so it will actually fit the kingpin card.

And use the kpe-evga thermal pads i think are better than ek thermal pads.My opinion thumb.gifbiggrin.gif

judging from a topic at EVGA's forums. there won't be any more stock. only one delivery was made to europe and apparently there are no plans for more.

I guess we didn't sell out fast enough compared to america. rolleyes.gif

essentially europe got the short end again. thumb.gif

god knows if the build to order will happen here.

Forgot to mention that I have the EK classy block, the picture was just used to show the thermal pad position ^^

That run was with LN2 bios and core clock was 1290.
