$5. I'll buy it please.

When it comes to gpus I usually do 10% off the original price if it's in like new condition and is a good clocker.

I'll tell you what you need to do.

Sell that Lightning to Szeged so he can do a KingPin vs 290x Lightning LN2 showdown. tongue.gif

Just sayin'. I want benchies.

Well u may think it's embarrassing but I can live with that knowing I have 1 of the best systems from a

hardware standpoint compared to most.

I'm not into testosterone surges so I'm not going to try to best anyone, I just like to bench, and have a lot to

learn. A lot of people have helped me with just little suggestions and I'm grateful for the help.

If ur going to start chastising a newbie bcuz he doesn't do or have everything you expect, have or know

to be on here well I can most certainly go somewhere else.

If I want abuse I can talk to my wife...hehehe

Now learning how to make the most of it is taking time but I'm having fun.!

Thanks for making my day!!!

Benching is good, at least you know you know it won't pop as easily as a reference card when bumping the voltage a lil on air biggrin.gif

What I think needs to happen is @szeged buys the lightning, @FtW 420 buys the kingpin and they have an LN2 off against one another, lol. That way they both have both cards.

Yeah understood. Clean slate.

I have only had this system since late December and have just started to figure things out in the bios for ocing so I don't fry everything.

Got my wife's 3960 system kickin' with a KPE for her gaming now. Have it running like a clock, and she plays League of Legends

Daughter's 4930 system just doesn't like ocing just like my 4960 either. So far no higher than 4.6 on it. Guess I have a lot to learn

about those 2 rog boards.

The 1st wcing will be 1 of those all in one from Koolance that I got for cheap. If I don't like wcing no big deal.

Trying just the cpu 1st and then the gpus as well. Titans my friend had got to 1380 in sli and kept cool so I'll be able to gauge if the

thing is any good for me from what his temps were.

I have a big case and add extra fans when using more than sli as the gpu fan keeps 2 pretty cool when on air. 2 fans 60+cfms / fan

. The Lian Li PC V2120 is huge compared to the HAF X which I had 1st and is much easier to work with for me.

It can actually handle the SR-2 but I'm not interested in that yet. Motherboard tray comes out, 11 expansion slots,.... I love it!

Love the enterprise drives compared to regular SSDs

Those E50s in raid just blow by my old OCZ V3 raid setup.

Not as good for benching I'm told but don't mind as the speed is amazing! 240gb/mirror

Haven't decided whether or not to move my benching software to another SSD yet. Much better in the Raptor drive than the Black it was

in b4

Got some extra drives kicking around, maybe I'll try it.

Compression fittings I'm told r the best, though I may just make my own lines out of stainless tubing.

Used to be a tradesman so the possibilities r endless. Torch, welder,....Taps/dies,.....Verniers, micrometers,....

Some people are amazingly talented with their case mods,....

Actually I haven't done any voltage adjustments at all. I won't do that until I get some wcing experience. More concerned about keeping them cool and not frying them b4 I start adjusting the voltages .

One step at a time. There's so much to learn b4 I start really pushing things. That's why I'm not too concerned about thermals by leaving things alone until I understand them a bit better.

After trying different ocing scenarios from online demos I can c there is a wide variance in the way some things r done. Pretty much none of them worked but putting a few tidbits together did.

Until then, I'll keep reading learning and hopefully getting a bit better and more comfortable with the nuances of ocing and wcing.
