stuck on air atm but at least my OC'd results on air matches or surpasses my OC'd results on water for the PNY gtx 780 at 1.5V, 1500MHz

Doesn't mean you can't overclock though, that updated ACX cooler seems to perform great.

Sounds good. Can't wait to test my Kingpin versus my fast 780Ti classified and see if the Kingpin can finally beat it. thumb.gif

If you think this card was meant for air/water, then you are lying to yourself.

Do you think Vince benches his cards on air/water? These cards have very low ASIC values which in theory should be much better suited for LN2 cooling but I think we need much more samples in the wild before we make any conclusions. Regardless there might be some LN2 results tonight, even though I don't have an EVbot atm, should be interesting but I do wish I had an Evbot frown.gif

When did he say anything about these cards being meant for air/water? He only said, and I completely agree here, that the cards are not LN2 only- they are very capable cards on air or water as well. They just will perform better on LN2 but that's true for just about any card.

I am doing stock runs because a lot of people are asking for comparisons with other cards.
My max overclock so far is 1279MHz (+90) and 3825MHz (+320) on stock bios and ma6x voltage under overvoltage (+75mv). ASIC 61%

You have one of the best KPEs out there, at least on air. How are your temps like at that voltage?
max I've seen so far is 73C. I'm surprised on how quiet the stock cooler is when loaded

Ok, I would try out +100 mV and see but you are on the verge of diminishing returns on air already.
