Seeing Total Biscuits video made me really want a MP campaign done right like he talked about brink. That sounded very very fun. The campaign is just hardpoint and attrition and i have no idea what's going on lol.

I have to agree with this conclusion from this review. It's a great game but it realistically should've launched at 40/50$ IMHO.

"The total lack of single-player capability is at odds with most other FPS games. If the likes of Call of Duty or Halo can provide both single- and multiplayer modes for the same price tag, it doesn't seem right that Titanfall can't. While Respawn and EA are cutting down on the price of development by foregoing single-player, those savings aren't being passed on to gamers, which is the concerning part of the game. At the very least, including an offline AI bot mode would seem to be a no-brainer, but it's not here for whatever reason. So, while Titanfall delivers amazing next-generation action, its next-generation business plan isn't nearly as impressive."

That said i think the Devs have expressed that they want to add some things in game that they didn't get to before launch so we'll have more content to come, just some free and some paid.

Oh i checked Titanfall for updates this morning and installed a small something i didn't see what it was named as but played one round just a second ago it's running fine now getting 90+ GPU usage and 100+fps no stutter.

Those are great points, and I really enjoyed reading your opinion on the situation.

Halo was one of the games that came to mind. A couple (if not all of them) had really great SP campaigns, AND MP. I believe a couple of them even had co-op SP; which for me is an even bigger bonus. This is why I have my eye on Destiny now (though, not a PC game); unless it's already confirmed that that won't have an SP campaign. If that's the case, the only console game I'm looking forward to is 1886: The Order.

I'm running 7.1 with no performance hit. Don't know why that would cause issues.

I get 100% GPU when it's at 60hz and 60 fps and I get 100% gpu usage when its @120hz and 120fps with vsync. No matter which one i use I will get FPS drops. when im using 120hz it will drop down to 90fps range if im using 60hz it will drop down to the 40 fps range periodically.

it's a fun game, I am not complaining, it would just be more fun if it was smoother.

edit, I see you have v-sync enabled, disable it. It runs like trash with v-sync. Smooth 60 is better than stuttery 90fps, and it locks to the refresh rate with v-sync disabled anyway.

When I run it at 60hz I dont use vsync, but to test out 120fps you need to use vsync and 120hz. I was just saying that is what it does when i tested it. I never use vsync otherwise. I agree with you. I just wish I coudl figure out what is wrong, you would think a 290x would be able to do 1440p at 60fps in this game.

Yeah you would. Sounds like something is going wrong. I keep a constant 60fps only dropped with heaps of titans on the screen in the beta, hasn't happened yet in the final game but i'm sure it might. Does it only drop in that scenario, or is it doing it for no reason?

What Cmoney said above is exactly how to do it. Which version of afterburner are you running? I know the newest beta (3.0.0 beta 18) has the RTSS included with it so as long as you set up your OSD in Afterburner's settings (settings / monitoring to pick what you want displayed on the OSD ) you should be good to go.

Every new game it will work great for some people, and for others it won't. The people who it works great for will act superior, as if they can't believe anyone has a problem. The people who do have a problem will act like the ones who don't must be lying, because it can't be them or their system. The truth is always a little of both. I am not above thinking I might have something messed up, so if someone who has it working great can help, I will listen.

Thank you, someone who understands. I hate it when people who it works well for end up posting as if the people who aren't are lying or something.

Earlier I wrote that most of my FPS issues came from enabling 5.1/7.1, and turning it off makes me have a much smoother experience, while I get 60FPS on most maps, on some I still dip down in to low 40's with everything maxed, and so does my PC with the 780 in it, though that one dips down in to high 40's low 50's. So those people who think that they run the game perfectly, probably played only the maps that really don't require much.

Some maps only use my GPU to 70% and those I get a constant 60FPS on, then some use it to 100% and I'll get the dips on, even though some of the maps that only use 70% seem like they would be more demanding, so it must be something like back in Crysis 3, the rope made everyone lag up, it might be an object like that in some maps that drops your fps dramatically.
Hopefully they will patch it up and also AMD released new drivers.

I can get OSD to work but I lose Shift+F1 functionality of Origin, I also lose the Invite Friends button.
So my workaround is, exit Afterburner and load the game, then open afterburner.

Yea it seems that if Fraps or Afterburner load in first, the overlay from Origin doesn't load. I do the same thing as you to get them both working, I just load afterburner after the game is already loaded and Origin overlay is hooked.
