From what it seems thus far, there isn't a dedicated xfire profile. You may be able to make one from another source engine game work. Try it out let us know biggrin.gif

Okay, so for all those experiencing issues with stuttering, low fps, random drops ect.

I have been trying to figure out what my problem is, and I finally found out what it is.

1) When I play the game, the same exact map can run smoothly at 85FPS constant(I overclocked my monitor) and then that same map run at 30 average. I am talking about two different games, as in one game Ill play that map and the entire game it runs fine, the next game I play that same map it runs like crap
2) The reason behind this is, the CPU usage.
3) When the game runs smoothly at 85 constant, my CPU usage by the game is around 40-50% peaking at 55%
4) When the game runs like crap at 30 average on that same map my CPU usage by the game refuses to go above 15%

This happens on every single map, so it has nothing to do with the maps, it's just for some reason how the game utilizes the CPU.

A lot of my friends who had the same issues from my clan, have reported that the same holds true for them. Their game refuses to use above a specific amount of CPU when the game runs like crap, and uses a good chunk more when it runs smoothly.
We all have different CPUs, some overclocked, some aren't.

So point is, if you are having issues, it's not your graphics card. This is why people with 7870s can run it maxed, and then there are people with 780s that are having issues.

Have you tried running the game with your CPU and graphics card at stock?

CTF might be the best CTF i've ever played. Take for granted i don't play CTF that much in most games because they're usually built more on TDM/Conquest this game screams it though. Man it's sooo much fun. Had my first -K/D today as well, despite getting frustrated came out of that slump the next round. Might of been that i had a great team that made it so fun.

What does everyone use for loadouts?

For my pilots i've mainly been using the main assault rifle and the SMG both silenced. Using cloak with the assault rifle and the sprint/heal with the SMG. I've equip the longbow a couple of times but it takes a little to long to aimdown sight and my accuracy with it varies. The Carbine i found horrible thought it needed some more damage to be useful honestly. I also love the satchel/C4 for CTF. I line our flag with satchel charges and just wait in a corner guarding it, at least grants me one kill smile.gif As for Titan weapon i've been using the mag launcher.. not sure how effective it is yet but i'ts fun none the less.

For Titans lately been using the Arc Cannon with the Ogre and Atlas, combined with electric smoke, lock on missiles, core increase, and nuclear discharge or whatever it's called. Found myself a couple of times getting spam punched by a striker or atlas lol the reach probably needs to be toned down a tad.

So despite it's short comings i'm having an absolute blast. Maybe it's just my affinity with mechs/robots. Every time my Titan lands i just think "pacific rim". Also pulling pilots out of Titans is as addicting and awesome as the reviewers say.

If anyone wants to add me and hit up some CTF my origin/steam name is Rogue_Aspect

Yea, I have two computers, one with a 780ti and this one with the 7950, the 780ti runs at stock, both gpu/cpu wise, and it has the exact same issue as this computer. It will run the game perfectly fine at max fps stable, then when the fps dips and stays at 35average, it's because of the CPU all of a sudden only being used at like 15%

Edit: I am actually talking to someone from OCN over origin right now who is in game, who I told to start up afterburner, they are reporting the same issue. When they experience stutter its because the CPU usage drops drastically.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one tearing into the CTF mode of this game. It is FAR from the best CTF I've ever played, but it's a very fun game for CTF and has potential. My main complaint is that matches can end in a draw. I had at least 4 draws today. It's not fun or exciting when the game is tied 3-3 and it just simply ends in a draw because the timer ran out. A lot of modern FPS games do this when they implement a Capture the Flag mode (Crysis 3 comes to mind), and I'm not sure why. It was always standard to have an overtime or sudden death extension to the game as a tiebreaker in older titles with CTF. I tweeted at Vince Zampella to ask if it'd be possible to add overtime or sudden death to CTF in a patch, we'll see if I get a response.

Your name seems familiar, perhaps you were in one of my matches today. My Origin is Murderbymodem, I shot you a friend request. thumb.gif

Good deal thumb.gif I hope Zampella answers with a resounding yes. I didn't have any draws we won 4 or 5 games straight, regardless i was hoping for sudden death when we did have a draw. With most being one sided. The last i played though we came back from a 2pt underdog to win 3-2. Was great fun. I wont be on as much as i'd like to but when i take breaks from studying i'll definitely be on.

Is there a config file somewhere for this game? There could possible be a setting hidden in there that could make a difference.
