Right now, 120hz isn't really making a difference because we're still driver limited.

You have to remember, just by SOP, it took Nvidia 6 months to really nail down the tessellation and tearing in BF4...Titanfall is going to be no different...

But you are getting 120fps? I want the BenQ XL2411T (maybe Asus VG248QE)

Would like to see a 120hz monitor in person before purchasing really, but having played Titanfall, which is much faster paced than BF4, I can see why it would be of benefit.

I can't say personally that I can put my finger on which exact game update or driver update really improved BF4 the most, but it has definitely took both NVidia+Dice some time to sort it. The Source engine is older and pretty solid, would expect it to be quicker maybe?

my 1440p monitor is overclocked to 92hz so should be able to do that in frames

Not sure a single 7970 could push out those frames though. Maybe

I updated to the new drivers last night.

My sig rig is primary -- 3930k OC'd, 3x 780's OCD -- Etc.

It's still "jumpy" and I'm capped just like the rest of you.

I can't really comment on Source Engine being "old" but, I remember beta testing Nvidia's fix and DICE's patch about 5 1/2 - 6 months in and that's when the real "fix" occurred and frames were "unlocked'.

I can't speak for Titanfall but, everyone uses the engine a bit differently...So, maybe it will be faster?

ATM the status quot is 6 months, though.

Want a 120hz monitor, the screen tearing is pretty intense without v-sync at 60hz.

Anyone running a 120hz monitor have feedback for that kind of setup in this game?

Don't rule out an OC. OC's can be stable for 1,000 games sometimes, but unstable for just 1. If you have a CPU or GPU OC, dial it down a tad and see if that does something for you.

Will my 780 do 1440p @ 110fps?
Consistently in it's current state? Probably not. Later on once we get better drivers and they actually unlocked fps? Most likely.

Any of you catch that the 2 monitors are actually different screen sizes?

I actually understand that because Alienware used proprietary Dell units...But, that's at least 1/2 in difference.

I'd lose my mind.

I'm actually diggin that keyboard though, used one of those "old" mechanical keyboards last week and prefer it so much more than the G15 I am using.
