If you force vsync off through your gpu control panel doesn't it do away with vsync or do you still have the vsync lag?
I didn't think if you had a 60hz monitor and you were running 110 FPS that vsync would be working.

Unlocking the framerate through the control panel works. But because crossfire doesn't work I get horrible tearing and artifacting if I go above 60. I have to use 60 fps like a console peasant, I'm above this and it is no excuse for a PC game, especially one developed from the Source Engine to be fps capped. My single 7950 can't sustain Titanfall on 2560x1440 with max settings running at 96 fps. I need the second one to achieve that.

As long as you use vsync, you'll have input lag, may it be via ingame settings or through gpu panel.

That is why people are using 120/144hz monitors without vsync to get the best possible gaming experience in regards to image quality and response time.

If you force it off through your GPU though. doesn't it turn off vsync. I know it unlocks the FPS limit on titanfall so wouldn't that mean that Vsync is off?

Well I have vsync forced off in both my panel and ingame settings and I still get 60 fps in Titanfall.

I did read somewhere that devs were working on that.

I'm pretty sure the way I did it was to turn vsync on in game and force it off through your gpu. You can unlock it. I've dove it.
