Agreed 100% FranBunny

In BF3 I liked the PKP, I was so hoping for something similar in Titanfall, I was so happy to unlock the LMG than immediately disappointed. I will play it till I unlock all the items for it but only in Attrition, the large magazine is great for grunts and specters.

The game's mobility and high speed of engagements makes it feel very underpowered, its only good in situations that you can sit around and wait for an ambush or a group of enemies.

the gun is terrible I agree, really no point in using anything but the car and the shotgun in this game at all. Not sure what kind of alpha/beta testing they did, but in all honesty the balance of the games guns are really bad for the most part..

I use the carbine, but somehow I still manage to get kicked from a mile away. tongue.gif

The guns feel like Black Ops 2, where it took almost a full clip to kill someone. I prefer the deadly high damage weapons such as the ACR or MK14 from mw3. Those guns were OP, but not to were it wasn't balanced. The ACR didn't took long to unlock, and the MK14 had a learning curve and disadvantage at short range(unless you got good hipfire skills).

With the carbine I get owned at short range by the CAR and Shotty, but it's decent at mid-long range. I just wish the guns were OP, considering there are only a few.

The CAR is not even that good compared to the R101C Carbine...

I feel like most unlocked guns are crappy.

My go to pilot loadout:

Carbine R101C / Sidewinder

for Titan:

40mm cannon / multi target missile system

Everybody hatin' on the Spitfire. Guess I'll be the equalizer. Best thing to do is take advantage of its 80 round mag and just jump around and hip spray at them until it stabilizes, then sight in for the kill. If they're close enough though, all you really need is recoil compensation.

I personally think it's not so bad if you use it with the Radar Pulse, that way you can position yourself in such a way that you can afford to bounce around like an idiot until it becomes accurate. Its main draw for me though is that Slammer attachment. I love to rodeo enemy Titans, and that 80 round mag with Slammer, holy cow.

I think the main thing that gets people about it isn't the recoil necessarily, but that its rate of fire is significantly lower than the other automatic weapons. This means its DPS lacks compared to the other guns, and it becomes very difficult to outright go toe to toe with them. You HAVE to make nearly every shot count.

EDIT: Also it's not the first LMG I've seen that does this. The LMGs in Battlefield 2142 worked the same way, getting more accurate the longer you held down the trigger.

I am a big fan of the grenade (MG) launcher vs the sidewinder.

gun was I love the SMG's, that with RUN & Gun or fast reload kick ass. I am trying to get better with the carbine, but working on it.

Game wise, my main issue is that I run everything maxed out and no matter what fix I do it still lags. Considering I have tri sli titans it makes no sense... at all...

Hopefully its fixed soon since I refuse to lower my graphics. Moving forward there are settings where you can put in custom sli profiles into Nvidia inspector from what I saw but they really dont help at all.

Anyone find a worthwhile fix for this game? I find it hard to believe that 3 titans cant keep up.

I use the Spitfire on Last Titan Standing to Rodeo enemy titans. One clip can kill full health Atlas and Stryder Titans.

There was no such thing as hipfire and ironsights fire in CS:S nor is there now in CS:GO. The games were designed without them.
but it doesn't change the fact that Titanfall desided to be the only fps game to change the fact that their LMG does EXACTLY THE OPPOSITE of every other games and real life's LMGs.

CS 1.x and CS:S are as if you're aiming with hip fire...there's not much else to it. It just doesn't have iron sight aiming...or else it'd be a slower-paced game. Simple as that.
