I posted specifically about CS:S, which you mentioned? Correct? CS:S doesn't use iron-sight fire. CS:S has ridiculous recoil on the M249. I'm not sure what YOU didn't understand about my point.

since you didnt understand it the first time

All of the weapons in CS:s fire with the accuracy they are given.
The game does not have iron sights functionality.
Games like Titanfall and BF3 and other with the Iron Sights animations and behavior, use a reduced accuracy while in a "hipfire" mode. you MUST ironsight them to gain the accuracy they are supose to have.
unlike CS:S where they are always at their given accuracy as if they are already in ironsight behavior of the weapons in newer FPS games.

I'm NOT talking about the actual function of iron sights and the lack their off in Cs:S I'm talking about the accuracy of the weapons and how iron sights behaves vs the lack of it in CS:S.
weapons in CS:S are ALWAYS at ironsights accuracy, titanfall weapons ARE NOT and must be ironsighted to use their defined accuracy.

It doesn't matter where the damn weapon is on the screen and what the 3d object looks like.



Now if you still don't get it

When you ironsight a weapon in titanfall/COD/BF3~3/ect just imagine the weapon doesn't move you just get a nice little crosshair instead and your sensitivity doesn't lower. Thats how the weapons compare from CS:S to titanfall. I'm not talking about the ACTUAL behavior of ironsights and the change of perspective it gives, I'm talking about the weapon accuracy.

I wasn't even that good at CS:S I averaged around a 1.25KDA (In CS:S 1.0 was 1 to 1 kills to deaths, 1.25 is 5kills for every 4 deaths)

TL'DR
There's no hip fire in Counter strike. the weapons are already sighted. rolleyes.gif

As for the spitfire discussion the gun is fine..maybe needs a quicker transition to iron sights but that's about it, i can kill with it. I would also say the guns in the game are plenty balanced. Perfectly balanced? No. But they are balanced. I can switch between most of the weapons and maintain my 2.0 k/d that i usually maintain. Though i usually use the CAR SMG or the Carbine i will mix it up with the big sniper rifle, Smart pistol, and LMG sometimes.

Also with regards to hipfire this game is extremely extremely generous with it. Sometimes it's ridiculous as to how much accuracy some people have hip firing. I will be alone on this but i think the shotgun is very OP, and can't stand it's counter strike esque style.
