Well, I will say that the satchel is WAY OP. Like stupid OP in so many ways. I use it a lot to take out huge crowds of grunts, but it's so easy to take out pilots instantly as I'm running by them in battle.

What guns are unbalanced besides the spitfire? Do you expect more from SMGs? I find that the secondary weapons are crap and take too long to whip out while in a shootout. They say it's much faster to take out your pistol than it is to reload, but 9/10 times I find it easier to just keep moving and try to dodge while I reload than deal with the crappy pistol mechanics.

Well I've actually gotten quite a few kills switching to secondary, I either use the auto pistol or the magnum. The magnum is especially fun to get kills with and also has good accuracy hipfiring.

I've got a few kills as well, but none of the pistols feel anywhere close to the effectiveness of the BF pistols I'm used to. The machine/ auto pistol is by far my favorite for panic "oh s*** I have to reload" moments. I'd just rather dip and dive than rely the secondary weapons in this game.

Any tips for using the Arc Cannon? Had some success with it this morning but still feel like I can be using it better.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is the weapon you have to charge? doh.gif

In Attrition, aim for large groups of grunts and pilots and charge 1/2 - full. Blaze the center of the group of grunts while they're still grouped together. The arc will jump from one grunt to another until all of them are wiped out in a small area giving you a nice cascade effect of DEATH!

Make sure you have strafing down while going toe to toe with another Titan. A particle shield is great for long distance shots while acquiring targets from great distances. Fire your ordinance, lay down particle shield, fire off as many full charged shots you can before the particle shield is depleted, rinse and repeat. Strafe and dodge between particle shield regeneration. Don't forget to rely a little bit on your ordinance ( I recommend using multi-target missiles while you're charging your arc cannon. thumb.gif

I honestly can empty that thing and not hit anyone standing next to them. I have no idea why though, I am sure it is not technically the game or my skill but something like lag or something causing me to be so bad at this game. I'm hoping when they unlock the frame rate and get crossfire working it will clear up my issues. It's a very fun game just frustrating when it is literally the only multi-player game I have ever not been good at.

Yes, that's it. I'm assuming for pilots you'd want a direct shot vs grunts which can be killed by the arc jumping from one to the other? Unfortunately I'm G2 and have yet to get my particle shield and multi target missles back, my accessories of choice, frown.gif

I find the gun a lot of fun to use with the Stryder.

Yeah i agree, i did forget to mention one weapon i never use that is pointless. The G2A4 it's a little underpowered IMO but i can see why. If it was a 2-shot kill we'd have a DMR problem like in BF.

Yes direct shot for Pilots while mostly charged is adequate. I'm not all that great with skill shots on pilots, so I just try to go after grunts to help out the team score with arc cannon.

Standard or slaved are great too, just make sure you have a set plan of escape if you're using those, same with the vortex shield. If you don't have the particle shield (which in my opinion is a must for arc cannon) just make sure you have auto-eject enabled with nuclear self-destruct in case you are getting pwned tongue.gif

I wish there were more guns I liked. I almost exclusively use the carbine. Sometimes I'll use the shotty or SMG depending on the map.

What are you least favorite maps? Mine are Air Base and Overlook. I perform so poorly in Overlook. Often times we'll lose on Overlook then we play the same opponents on a different map and win convincingly.
