Oh nos poor EA won't make ten million out of this game , just the five million. **** them , that's what they get for overcharging us for years

Actually, EA as a publisher is only making like 20%...The people you're actually hurting, IN THIS INSTANCE, is Respawn.

Respawn is not associated with EA in any way/shape/form/function beyond that royalty...So, this kind of actually is a big deal because it directly impacts the studio...

I doubt EA really cares but, Respawn really doesn't deserve that, IMHO.

Although I will say I love the game thus far. Fast paced shooter with decent graphics. But I confess, I never have been much for nitpicking. If it's not to my satisfaction, I move on to something else and don't obsess.

On the issue of different prices overseas...different markets bare different prices. I certainly see nothing wrong with purchasing it overseas to pay less.

Like I said, those markets are priced differently for a reason. Pretty soon, they won't be, anymore which will hurt that region and the bottom line but, we're forcing their hands.

At the end of the day, buying from a different region hurts the Studio...You know since studios ARE NOT publishers...And by hurting the studios they'll force the hands of publishers.

This is already happening on the Xbox One -- A device that was marketed as being 100% region free...You really think this isn't going to hit the PC next? -- News flash: It already is.

Regional pricing for goods and services changes based on location, regardless of if it is a physical or digital. If you ever get to travel you can see this for yourself.

Uh all games are overpriced at launch. Why wouldn't they charge the most at launch? Peoples silly justification of saving 10 dollars that results in restrictive DRM/region locking - if you really want to save money wait for the inevitable price drop. This game will be half price in 3-6 months. So really if saving money is all you're concerned about you should wait. EA/Steam - if you purchase through those services - you don't actually own the games, and they can take it away anytime they want -which they won't , but say these issues become more rampant, they will be forced to address it. Why open yourself up to those risks? It's a stupid and childish mentality.

Missing the point , digital game = same cost price all regions

If I wait 6 months then buy it , that means that the developer has made even less money as they have to wait six months for my money and it will be at a reduced price

No , buy it from Eastern Europe , the developer gets their cut and the customer (me) is happy

Everyone wins apart from the rip off UK retailers like Game

All I'm saying is he is a better FPS player than most KB&E players. He trained himself to not use aim assist in games like BF because there was no aim assist support for PC. Doesn't like playing XBOX for the soul reason of the restrictions and lack of performance. Likes using the controller because that's what he's used since the first Halo. Just sayin' not looking to cause any butthurt.

ITT: honor is dead, because "EA is bad and deserves it"
Guys this doesn't fall entirely on EA, the financial burden can also fall on Respawn. They are a new company and this is their first title and they did pretty damn well all things considered, so with all do respect. If not for EA's sake, hold off and understand that breaking the roles of an agreement or early accessing a product that you're not supposed to be given access too until after a specified time still makes you in the wrong. No matter how bad you think EA is.
Have yall really let your entitlement get to your head? Cmon now, have a bit of honor in your self conduct.

Kinda bummed about this 60fps cap thing. If I enable vsync to remove the limit then I get this jittery movement stuttering issue. Also, even on low graphic setting with vsync my fps is pretty poor. I hope they resolve this.

EDIT: found something on reddit saying that enabling vsync in nvidia control panel instead of in game fixes the stuttering but I'm still disappointed that you can't remove the 60fps cap without vsync. I hope someone finds some .ini tweaks to fix this.

I switched to my external monitor Overclocked seting(720P@77hz) and I'm getting 77FPS solid

That being said, there shouldn't be a frame rate cap.

Absolutely. Just finished a quick sesh and it was fast paced awesomeness. It's a great change of pace from bf4, no respawn times really allow the game to flow, 6v6 make it feel like you can really impact the match and win the game on your own if you can string a few kills together or get a few areas at critical times. Loving it.
