Yamasaki DS270 or First FSM-270YG STRONG?

Sorry! It's First FS270YF STRONG!!

I'm between these two because most fit my budget.

What to buy? You Know if they are glossy or matte?
The First is useful for me to also plug the consoles, but if the other is better, I catch the Yamakasi.

Any alternative is welcome biggrin.gif
Regards!

I own the DS270 and it is glossy...first Glossy monitor I've owned actually. I think I will probably go glossy from here on out.

It is a solid monitor for sure. I am quite happy with it, but if the other one is the same price and has more inputs I'd probably go with that.

The only thing bad I have to say about it is that it only has the one Dual link DVI input. A Displayport would have been a nice option or at least a second Dual Link DVI input so I could hook up a laptop easily (at a lower resolution of course using normal DVI). However, I have two other monitors on my desk that can do that if I want so isn't a big deal.

...well and I don't like the stand, but it works. I am sure if like any stands that come with monitors though.

I do not worry the cons you mention biggrin.gif.

You know why some have an asterisk in the title?:
"Pixel Perfect *"

It's a guarantee that there wont be any dead or stuck pixels. I got mine from greensum as well as others on the other thread and it seems like everyones has been perfect so far. I got mine for 299 I think he raised the price a little now though. Still an excellent monitor, and most Korean monitors you get are only going to have 1 input, some have more but then the ones with HDMI, from my research, sounds like they have some input lag issues.

Yeah if you are looking for display port I think you are going to be paying more for a "non-korean" monitor...

I only listed the cons that I could think of...well...there is also those two buttons on the Yamasaki that don't do anything. I am sure the panel is just used on another model that has speakers or something and they are volume buttons. They are far out of view of course.

I understood! smile.gif

If I connect the console will look on this monitor? I read something about that did not scale the resolution and were not compatible...

And I am not looking for Display Port, has HDMI 1.4 hehe.

Well, the new consoles are barely able to do 1080p and still do 720p in some games thus far. So 1440p is probably not going to work. Plus I think they only have HDMI 1.4 connections which have a hard time with 1440p. You might get it to display but the quality would be bad and you'd be limited to a max of 30fps (which might be OK for a console)

You think the console will look best on my TN panel 27 "? Or maybe in my LG AH-IPS 42"?

I think it will look very bad on the three TVs hahaha.

Anyway, where would be better, in my TN 27 "or LG 42"?
