How does this look for a new build?

post #1 of 29
Thread Starter
I'm building this machine for a friend and I could use some help.
* We're from belgium and purchasing in the netherlands (http://www.azerty.nl). Keep in mind that I'm working with an EU budget (€1000).

CASE: Bitfenix Comrade - €38
MOBO: Asrock Z87 Killer - €128
CPU: 4670K - €195
RAM: 2x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws 2133 Mhz - €77
GPU: 2x MSI R9 270 2G - €320
HSF: Hyper 212 EVO - €28 -> Scythe Mugen 4 - €35
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB - €74
SSD: Crucial M500 120GB - €79
PSU: Corsair CX600M - €60 -> XFX Core 550W - €55

Total: €1000

How does this look? Is there anything that I should change?

Thanks

I appreciate the help, but general statements like that don't really help me out, especially in the PSU department. From what I've read, the CX600M should be a pretty good buy for crossire 270's given the price.

Also, is there any other reason, besides having the possibility to add another card later, to get a single stronger GPU over crossfired weaker cards? Crossfire 270's should dominate anything in the same price range, right?

Its not something you should buy

Seasonic G series 650 watts would be far better

Dont cheap out on the PSU and buy a mediocre PSU

This is what I build for a friend of mine.

Honestly you are better of with 1 280X then you'll be with 2 270's. 2133Mhz is expensive and imo not needed you're better of with 1600-1866.

You can't overclock on the H87 platform, right?
