4670k Asus, Gigabyte or MSI

I'm getting an i5 4670k, looking to overclock it to around the 4.4/5ghz mark, so which motherboard would you guys suggest ?

Currently looking at

Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H
MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming
Asus Z87-PRO (V EDITION)

They're all around the same price £134-£140

I might be stretched to £150 for Asus Maximus VI Hero if it's really worth the extra value

But any suggestions are welcome or if you can suggest an equally good mobo for a cheaper price

I'll be running a 280x (option for crossfire a must) 8gb RAM 1866 my XFI f4tality sound card and DvD drive with 2 Sata HDDs and an SSD powered by a cooler master v700 in a Storm Styker case (USB 3.0 a must)

Wifi on a board isn't a need but would be welcome as well as other extras

Based on what I've been seeing about Asus RMAs, I would not go with them. I've used Gigabyte boards in numerous builds and haven't had any problems with them, so I will keep recommending their boards until I have a reason not to.

Out of them three, I'd say the Gigabyte smile.gif I have never had any trouble with them and have always been my favorite motherboard brand. They even have a UK RMA service should anything go wrong. Looks great to smile.gif

I gave the Gigabyte GA-Z87X-UD4H along with a i5 4670k. No issues what so ever.

MSI or Gigabyte. MSI has better audio, and offers Killer NIC. They also AFAIK have better fan control. Gigabyte has better VRM, but they are both extreme overkill...

Which would be a better trade off ?

The audio I don't care, I have 2 separate sound cards for that job.

Which board has more precise diagnostics for detecting correct temps and fan speeds etc ?

From reading up it seems Killer NIC is more a bad thing than a good feature with lots of people having issues with it and the appeal of "military class" components seems incredibly gimmicky and their selling talk for it is really something I'd expect a motherboard to do anyway (work under load)

The better VRM however is a good selling point for the gigabyte, the only problem is I've seen complaints about the Gigabyte UEFI which kind of puts me off, I'd rather the classic DOS based BIOS
