No Speedstep for Asus P5B Deluxe

Did anyone notice this?There is no option for disabling/enabling SpeedStep in bios.I'm currently running the latest bios.

Its called -> C1E
and its in the cpu section of the BIOS.

np...you turning it off er leaving it on. I got my e6700 @ 3.6 w/ it on...no issues w stability. + for power savings its good to idle down some when ur not 'using' the cpu.

Got it!I was just curious cause there is word that some previous versions of bios had it as a separate option.

805?Is this beta or something?I still don't get it,the manual refers to the speedstep and hyperthreading options but ASUS decided to remove these from the latest bios.

And to be honest C1E is "enhanced halt state" which is in no means speedstep.

OK I found it!

Simply the CPU configuration menu scrolls down by simply pressing the "down" key on your keyboard after the last option shown on screen and...ta-dah!SpeedStep is there and in automatic mode.
