I don't know what were they thinking when they made it but... Man, it does suck.

I don't entirely disagree however it was still the best thing to happen to the Wii.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Just start making the Gameboy Color and Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow again. Instant profit.

I dunno, I'm excited. Nintendo consoles/systems are the only hardware I buy nowadays. I love their games, love how they have local multiplayer (me and my gf have a blast with Super Mario 3D World), and quite enjoy the "Nintendo" atmosphere (plus, HUGE Pokemon fan). For more serious games, I just buy/play them on PC.

Yep. Because games that only have their characters in common with prequels are totally rehashes, right? thumb.gif

People who don't play Nintendo games and only see the names don't understand how good Nintendo is at making unique gameplay experiences in all their games. Looking at current games it seems only indie developers are making unique experiences and most of the triple A titles are Bro FPS shooters.

I wouldn't want to imagine a world without Nintendo and we should all appreciate that they DO NOT follow the current trends.

The Wii played games therefore was a gamers console. The definition of a Gamer is not simply one who plays on Playstation, Xbox and PC. A Gamer plays games on game compatible hardware. And the Wii Library is quite good once you dig past all the shovel ware that was published by 3rd parties for quick cash ins.

Yes it is my opinion, and this is your opinion, and other other people will have their opinion. I'm glad you understand this.

For more serious games, I just buy/play them on PC.

I don't understand how people think Nintendo games are not serious or hardcore games. In fact, to me, they are the most hardcore. It's not push you through cinematic after cinematic repetitive gameplay. Nintendo is fun, engaging and challenging gameplay.

Don't get me wrong. I love my PC and have a PS3 and PS4, but there really is one questions to ask. Why do so many hardcore gamers speedrun Nintendo games?
