Toss suppression, flinching and exaggerated bullet-velocity into the mix and it basically amounts to the WORST gunplay I have ever seen in a multiplayer shooter. Ever. It's unbelievable DICE thought they could make gunplay with 10-20+ variables work properly.

Inconsistencies, inconsistencies, inconsistencies. Variables, inconsistencies, more variables, more inconsistencies. That sums up this game for me.
Well the way I look at it is that you have to fail to succeed. Elon Musk spent millions on 3 rockets but before closing shop he said 'nope I'm trying a fourth'. Now SpaceX makes millions from NASA.

Point is .... I think that they tried something and they are trying to make it better because realistically it is truly hard to make this code work. Give it time and they will have fixed it in next generation games and we won't even notice.

On a side note I finally coughed up the $30 to get the base BF4 against my better judgement. Wish me luck.

If another game does all of this, please let me know so i can play it.
with regards to game CTD's and server crashing it has definitely improved. I still see a game CTD between rounds now and again but it's nowhere near as frequent as it used to be.

the key problems with the game are the low tic rate and latency built

who cares how shiny it is, at it's core it's a broken piece of junk and it will never get fixed, expect all fb games to have the same exact issues.

You do realize that SCAR-H is basically a DMR set to full-auto lol. There is no reason to use anything other than assault rifle + med kit in infantry maps...that's DICE's idea of weapon/kit balance.

Each kit I would assume is meant to be situational. So ya ....

The two worst ideas EVER.....besides Flood Zone and placing jets on Dawnbreaker. And releasing this game last October.

So this is about right, really with all EA games, you have to wait basically 5 - 6 months AFTER the release of the game for these 'major' issues to be fixed, just poor form, I can't understand how anyone nowadays can justify firstly the stupid price tags on all EA games, and secondly, the extremely unfinished and badly supported products they produce.

Probably want the official one instead of Tweaktown news lol: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/news/view/addressing-netcode-in-bf4

This is the big one for sure.
"Though we haven’t got any immediate plans to increase the tickrate at this moment, we are exploring the possibilities of raising the tickrate on specific servers." - No idea how that will work. What specific servers? How will the determine which servers will be eligible?

Probably testing on some specific servers. They did that with quite a few patches via Reddit.

They ask people to fill certain servers where they made changes and then they can test the results.
