Did yours make that noise all of the time or like mine just while gaming?

I am starting to wonder if the coil whine noise and my issue with OC'ing is a sign that my card is bad.

Thanks

Now crashing in all games with the 1202 bios, any idea what is causing this?

Hi all,

Just for your information and for your convenience, you can flash the card directly from Windows - Download latest NVFlash here:

I prefer to do it like that, but remember, flashing a card is always done at your own risk.

Cheers,

I'd also like to know if this would be better than the LN2 BIOS on the 780Ti Classified HydroCopper.

At the moment, the most I can get on it is a +100 on the core (1020MHz to 1120MHz), but only around +30 on the memory when the core is OC'ed.
I'm not sure if I've just lost the silicon lottery, but if there's any way to skew it in my favour, I'm all for that! thumb.gif

Also, when I run Valley, it reports my GPU running at 1446MHz, am I getting false information?

Valley tend to give false information - a lot when overclock - Use GPU-Z to log, that will display the correct information.

My cards Coil Whine is under strange stuff like Grid 2 intro just when you start the game or like in Heavens exit screen - totally weird. I don't think this card will hold up either it will brake down just as the first one did, seems to be pretty bad cards.

Coil whine is 100% normal with most cards when you're in loading screens because your FPS jumps up very high.

If you want to stop it then just set a hard FPS cap in EVGA Precision or whatever program you use.
