Amazing build man, truly inspiring. The FT02 is an amazing case, and I hope one day I can acquire it. +Repped! thumb.gif

This is beautiful!

Could you show some pictures of the tube from the hidden bit from the rad to the pump/res please?

Did you completely remove the hot spap bracket? I am following this and have it all done but that. And did you flush the raditor up against the front? What about the spacing left to right and what about the drain Did you do it like several others have with the quick disconnect coming out of the rear bottom spacing bracket? Looks really good I like your Idea better than the others Hope you read this post

Thanks

Whoops, I forgot to respond to this post earlier. I was away on vacation when I first saw it. Sorry. Better late than never...? Not sure if I want to show the back as that was the least flattering part of my build (cable management was a pain, didn't help that I used extension cables instead of just sleeving the power cables) though next time I do another photo shoot with my newer updates to the build I'll try to post the back as well.

Thanks, glad that you liked the build. I only removed the lip in the front of the hot swap bracket, though the bottom that supports the drives is still in place. The magicool radiator is spaced about 1.5-2 cm from the front of the case. I didn't use quick disconnects but instead drilled out a hole in the back of the case and used that as a drain port. An extension fitting was used from the back of the radiator to reach the hole.

I modded the hot swap bracket by removing a 2.5 cm notch removed some of the material on the 2 rivets and filing down the top of the bracket I also removed some of the metal from the rad to make it fit over the notch. I can post pictures on your post if you like. Let me know

Thanks

Beautiful build. Lowfat's FT02 inspired me to get this case and water cool it. I'm currently in the process of gathering parts (though I have my FT02) and just sleeving my PSU cables before I put the case under the knife.

FT02mod.pdf 1998k .pdf file RadiatorMod 663k .jpg file HotswapbracketMod 1713k .jpg file

Here it is the notchh on the left is 2.5 cm. Removed material from top of the rail also (close to the screw hole)

How do you get the pictures to show up on the post?

Did you trim away the sound proofing padding stuff when moving the window to the inside? Or, did you buy different screws?

Looks good, I was originally thinking of going with a similar approach but I didn't want to mod the radiator. This method will definitely more easily secure the hot swap adapters though.

You can embed an image instead of attaching it for it to display in the post.
