i recently bought a e6600+ecs p965t-a combo for 298$ but it turned out that the motherboard is crap. i cant overclock with it.
so out of the 5... which one is best for overclocking?

OH yea i saw that deal. It wasn't so bad since you got the CPU for a decent price. If fry's has it, i'd get the p5b deluxe.

so ds3 and p5b express... which is better... i might be thinking of going SLI with my 7600gt. are the other sli boards good?

i would say dont go SLI and get the Gigabyte GA965P-S3. it is EXACTLY like the DS3, identical to it in every way except that its capacitors arent aluminum capped (means nothing, lol it means that it will last only 10 years instead of 15) and after 10 years you will probably have an octet-core system.
Its also cheaper by about $40, its on newegg for $108.99 + $6.13 shipping!!! and it overclocks MAD almost as good as the $180 P5B-D!!! It goes to about 510 FSB before you hit any walls, and you probably wont go up there anyway unless you have watercooling. With good air cooling and an S3/DS3 you could hit 3.7-3.8 on that e6600 depending on your ram.

ive read about the s3 it sounds good. but will SLi help out a lot later if i decide to get another 7600 gt?
