Please help my pump is so loud!!!! - Page 2

If the water isn't going down, make sure you open up one of the ports on top of your res so that the air vacuum is released and the air inside the pump rises up to your res. It will be natural for the pump to be super loud when you first bleed your system, it will be loud for 30mins~several hours depending on how your loop is setup. Just like everyone said, make sure your pump is always getting water or else running it dry will damage/kill your pump!

After shaking the pump and pinching the tubing the liquid is getting a little but further and then getting stuck again and my pump is still making the same awful noise.
be sure you are cycling the pump while tipping and moving - 20-30 sec on 20-30 off while tipping and moving - and fill valve removed smile.gif

I was doing it more like 5-7 seconds but I will try. Should I still continue even if my pump is making the horrible noise? When I am tipping it while the pump is on the liquid is moving further but still the pump is making the noise.

Some loops are just harder to bleed than others, I know mine was. Best advice I can give is to actually rotate your entire case and try to get the air into the res. It takes some patients but you'll get it eventually. And don't forget to close the fill port first!

I tip the case in all directions with pump off to begin with. Once you cant fill up the reservoir anymore after tipping case, i would turn pump on for a few seconds to help remove trapped air. Turn off pump and start tipping case again. Eventually you will hear water going through the pump and after that i start tipping the case while pump is on.

Thanks for all the suggestions... It is finally working much better but the only thing that worries me still is the pumps noise.

This is a rare suggestion I reserve for extreme bleed cases - if you do this you must do it EXACTLY as stated

put ONE drop of dishwashing soap in your loop ONE DROP - I'M NOT KIDDING! This acts as a surfactant to help release microbubbles that get caught in small seal spots such as around o-rings, or in imperfections in manufactured surfaces (no matter how smooth it feels it isn't really)

I don't think it is an extreme case yet but I will keep the dishwashing soap in mind. I recognized a weird effect going on. I have my loop positioned as reservoir>pump>480mm rad>360mm rad>cpu waterblock>140mm rad>gpu waterblock> reservoir
The weird thing is there is no liquid going to my 480mm rad or 360mm yet somehow it is going straight from the gpu into the 140mm and going into the cpu block through the outlet port. Why is this happening???

do u have any rads mounted vertically with the ports at the bottom? those can be a pain to bleed
