Best wiring?

Thread Starter
I don't really know where to post this, so if there is a better place, then feel free to move the thread.

Anyone have any good tips to make your wiring look good? It seems to be a lot harder to make it look good using IDE cables.

here is what it looks like right now

http://youluz.org/host/files/1/wiring.jpg - it's pretty bad.

any tips?

I have 2 CD/DVD drives, 3 hard drives( only 1 sata ), and 5 fans

you might want to consider useing the flat ide cables
. cut some holes in the mobo tray and route the wires on the back .
that would help alot .
just a suggestion .
good luck ,
cheers ,

heres a great link .

Get the thinner ATA cabling that is half the size of the standard round cable. It's a hybrid of the old ATA ribbon (no ugly boot caps), with a smaller round sleeve (or make one yourself with sleeving and ties).

Then get matching colored ties to tie the bulky wiring harnesses to a straighter bunch. Then sort them out per direction (DVD drives; HDD; fans) and anchor the wire harnesses against the case itself. You may have to use extenders if the wiring is too short.
