For $1039.97

Intel i7 4770K
Gigabyte G1.Sniper 5 Z87
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB 4x4

Thread Starter

Thanks for the help. I have done a little research myself and found my combo that I have purchased:

Intel i7 4770K

G.SKILL Trident X Series 16GB (2x8GB) 1600MHz 7-8-8-24 @ 1.5V

ASUS Sabertooth Z87

Will be posting pics of my new build in a new thread as soon as everything gets here!

That's a good motherboard, but don't get that ram. 4x4 is more efficient. That's because there are 4 sticks of ram working at w/e clock speed instead of 2.

From what I read 2 sticks is better than 4. More room for upgrades, more stability on OC's, less work for memory controller.
