[Gigaom] Another freebie bites the dust: LogMeIn pulls free remote access - Page 11

teamviewer is the best, I make mine auto startup and has a specific password that never changes. so if I ever reboot 5-10 secs later I can connect back.

TeamViewer has successfully replaced LogMeIn for me and I am happy to have an alternative.

He was responding to the post I made which was removed. I'm not sure why, I do realize this is almost from 2 months ago which is not that long ago and it's something that I noticed as an affect of Logmein removing its free service. It seemed like the perfect thread to ask people because it's full of people who have had to seek out other remote desktop services. I guess I should have just started a new thread but it seems redundant.
Is their a particular service or software you could recommend?

Don't worry my posts get removed all the time with no warning or nothing..even a post complaining about the posts was removed.

Anyways you could easily setup a self executable vnc package, that's like 300kb, and connects to a specified server upon launch, all automatically

Similar to teamviewers "quick connect", but more professional
