well im not sure what it is when i say fly i don't mean a wasp or anything like that, its not that big, probably about the size of a ''['' sign, it was when my monitor was brand new i could see something crawling round the screen, thought it was an online joke or virus, cleaned the monitor with a spray and cloth only to find i squashed whatever the thing is in the middle of the monitor.

Anyway, i unscrewed all the screws on the back of the LCD and still cant remove anything

Can we have a photo please - I'm not sure that it will help us help you but it should have some good amusement value . Have you thought of sending a pic off to AG and asking what they think you should do?

Ok here is a pic, i have zoomed in to it and he is pretty much bang on the centre of the screen, i don't know what it resembles some sort of fly bug crawly thing, doesn't look like much, doesn't even look that big but believe me its bloody annoying, especially because i crushed him there, right in the centre.

Anyone want to take a guess at what the hell that is??

wow thats crazy. yeah it definitely looks like a bug. *marvels at firefox2's spell check* my bad typing is finally fixed.
any who. does your screen have some type of covering over the panel? like glass ? because on my lcd screens its just the actual screen. and there is no way in hell anything can get stuck in there, even if it crawls in the back

Back in July i posted about the problem of a fly crawling into my screen, i never got round to sending the monitor back and simply bought another one. Now i am building a second system and will be using the 17" monitor i bought which the fly crawled into. Obviously i want the stupid fly out is there any way of opening up a lcd screen to remove the fly, i know nothing about lcd screens so any advice on how i would go about removing him from my screen would be appreciated! (The screen is a AG Neovo F-417 if that helps at all)

Little thunderflies are attracted to the compound used in screens and often get stuck inside them.
