One by one we're growing!

It looks like this is the trend:
Maximus VI Gene
Corsair H100i
Corsair fans with red rings
Corsair 350D
Corsair AX/AXi PSU
If you look in the 350D thread, that's almost everyone's setup hahaha

I'm at 4.3. Bad oc for me. Built a second computer today for a friend. He is up at 4.7 on way lower vcore. He has z87-a. Pretty sure it's the CPU that's better. But anyone here that has managed a high overclock?

I have not built it yet and I am wondering if I should return it and get the ROG Z97. If I were to put it together now I would toss it into a TJ08-E but if I were to wait and get a Z97 then I may go mitx and get that new Corsair 250D.

The new ROGs look sexy as hell, don't you agree? About the only thing better would be red PCB. Sigh... what to do what to do?

Meh.. the southbridge and mosfet heatsinks look like the only big asthetic changes and I don't really like them anyway. You also lose out on the red DIMMs, PCI-e slots, and SATA ports

I was reading last night that the only new thing coming to z97 (performance-wise) is native support for m.2 SSDs. If you have a z87 ROG you already have m.2 SSD support.
It would be a worthy upgrade if you're coming from 2 generations ago otherwise it's not worth it.
