Need some input on a new rig

Welp, I've been locked away in a foreign country for the past few months and isolated from new technology news. This won't be the first computer I build since I have build over a dozen of my own not including the ones I put together for family and friends. I oc'd my system's FSB and memory before and a pretty tech savy person so I'm not a ditz with it comes to technology. Seeing my older desktop needs a replacement, I plan on building a new computer instead. I need some input on some parts that will allow me to OC a QX6700 to its limit using a 680i chipset while running stable and at a decent temp that won't melt my computer case away. Money isn't an issue for me and I'm willing to spend a reasonable amount (ie. nothing insane like $800 dollars on 2 gigs of ram) on memory, the motherboard, and water cooling. In a nut shell I want the best parts I can use to overclock the system that will allow it to run stable on prime 95.

The parts I was planning to get

Intel QX6700
ASUS Striker Mobo
2x EVGA nvidia 8800GTX or perhaps two BFGs with the water cooling built into them if I get water cooling.

Those are the parts I'm planning to get. Of course I am open to suggestions and any input will be highly appreciated.

I am an avid gamer that demands high performance for the games I play and nothing but the best.

I don't think anyone can reasonably argue about your core components. It'll be interesting to have someone around who actually owns that board, instead of just talking about it.

No I'm actually in the Army and I re-enlisted. Anyway, I'm a bit skeptical about the motherboard although a lot of people that owns the board saysit's fast (which I don't doubt), I'm not sure how stable the board is when you over clock it. The evga board which everyone seems to be getting is getting great reviews after you get it to run, so I'm debating at the moment.

I'm still looking for memory, although GSKILL apparently is one of the more affordable and popular memory, I always went with OCZ and Corsair XMS so I'm doing more reading and comparing the three brands.
