My BFG 8800GTS runs @ 600/1000. Idle temp is 41°C and load temp is 59°C.

Check my Cheap way to cool your 8800 topic on what kinda aircooling I use.

Thanks for the info. I am using the Antec intake instead of blower. It seems the blower is pulling air out of those vents on the card better than the intake is pushing air into the card. I may switch.

Also thanks for the info kamil234. Like i said, I am still new to overclocking.

Man I wish Zalman would hurry up and make a good cooler!

I would really warn against OCing these cards. Nvidia said when they created these that they shouldn't be overclocked because they were already at their limits. I killed 2 8800GTX's by overclocking them and I had them both watercooled, they never got above 30C! They start to artifact and then refuse to work. Just a word of warning!

I feel the same way. I leave my PC on most of the day while im at work because of the web blocker, I just remote into my machine, so I usually set it back to stock clock and fan speed. It runs around 52c 53c. Then I crank that bad boy up for some F.E.A.R or UT2k4 frag sessions. With a Headset on it could be as loud as it wants.

Thanks for the warning. I would hate to crash my baby! I think I might stay at stock for a while and let others crash theirs. Its not like this thing doesn't play what I want at max setting and is as smooth as a baby's bottom.
