Well they certainly don't in the only example which was given AKA BF4, where the i5 and the i7 perform exactly the same in SP. What comes to MP we can't know, because we can't bench it consistently.

do not worry about DDR4, you will most likely need to change CPU/Mobo anyways.
Stick with the last build, and if you want to save some money you can change the SSD Hyperx to the V300 for $50 less.

Everything else is great. You will have no issues gaming in that system.

Yeah I second sp33d junki3 once again, DDR4 will be very expensive at first anyway.

If you're not overclocking, then the Armor Evo case I suggested may be a bit overkill (both in size/fans). There are numerous ~$50 cases worth consideration to save some bucks. Otherwise the similarly priced Arc Midi is probably built a little nicer in that price class so I would go that way if you're alright spending ~$100 on a case. The main reason I originally suggested the Armor Evo was because I was under the impression that you might want to overclock a 2011 socket build. The Armor Evo just offers a ton of airflow for the money, but isn't a particularly high quality case in its price class.

If you don't have any interest in overclocking, and are leaning towards an 1150 socket system, consider an E3-1230V3 instead of the i5. It will offer more performance in the long run with hyperthreading.

Do you want an upgrade path to 2xGPUs or are you always going to stick with one?
