I don´t think so. But I don´t see why they shouldn´t work. (If you have a newer BIOS.)

Hello

The Sabertooth and 4790K are fine together if using the a UEFI version that supports the CPU.

Take a look at this guys....

Z87 might be able to support Broadwell after all.

Do you remember last year , how everybody was sure that Z87 won't support Devil's Canyon's CPUs? Well this might be the same case with Broadwell too. Only thing is if the Manufacturers want it. Cause otherwise is doable.

that thing was a drill. bad psu take something with them when they die. Corsair mix great psu's with mostly mediocre ones. I hope nothing bad happened to your Sabertooth.
I ended up getting the corsair ax760i power supply. After plugging it all in everything has been working fine thankfully thumb.gif
Very happy with this psu so far.

Sorry for late reply, I was moving house.
Anyways, I put the system under load and put my ear up to the psu and no coil whine. Also the fan never needs to turn on even under load as it stays so cool. So no fan noise either. And because my i5 4670k and gtx660ti only pull around 200watts on this 760watt psu. Maybe at higher loads it gets noisier, but I don't know.

hi guys. having some trouble with this motherboard. I had my friend's computer over here yesterday. specs:

Corsair 750D
EVGA 1000P2 psu
Asus Z87 Sabertooth
8GB DDR3 1600 Corsair Vengeance
250GB Samsung 840 EVO
2TB Toshiba HDD
no gpu right now

I had the computer working last night and when he got home he is getting no video from the HDMI. it isn't detecting his monitor. I was using the computer on my HP 23xi monitor with a HDMI 1.3a cable. could his HDMI cable or monitor be incompatible? the pc was going to sleep at the windows login screen, but I just hit some keys and it woke up. anybody have similar issues with this board?

Ah yes. I used a hdmi cable from the Xbox 360 to hook up my sabertooth z87 to a Asus monitor. It didn't work. So I tried another hdmi cable and it did work.
I didn't have the sleep issue you're having.
Maybe try another hdmi cable.
