ok, then I will run collatz like the last BGB.

Last time I looked (earlier today) I had two, yes, 2 DirT projects waiting. Ive been working away at PrimeGrid and POGs for a day or so. Will swap over to Collatz tomorrow.
I've been getting Dirt tasks. However, I can only download one at a time and it's been like that for several months now. I'll switch to Collatz during the BGB.

EDIT: My tasks list on dirt's website says I have 48 tasks in progress, yet I only have one queued and running in the BOINC manager at any given time.

The DiRT WU generator appears to be down, and it looks like the only tasks I am getting are tasks that another user aborted, timed-out, or errored-out on.  I did manage to grab 18 tasks yesterday, but so far today I have only had 3 new DiRT tasks.

Collatz working well for me last 24 hours and gives instant credit... didn't get any DIRT tasks..

Not sure how my little 650W PSU is going to cope with both a highly overclocked 3570K + R9 280x running 24 hours a day...

I guess we shall see redface.gif

I've been getting at least 4 dirts at a time since friday night on my 580s, but acidentally stockpiled quite a queue of Einstein tasks that they've been working through all weekend.

280x is basically a 7970 which is similar to my rig. At the wall +3 monitors I see about 480watts (with 1 7970 running). So ~250 watts for the card and around 140ish for the mobo, CPU and 4 hard drives. The monitors make up the other 90watts or so. 650 is overkill if you have around 40amps on the 12v rail or more.

I figured I'd give MOO! a chance. After the GPU tasks not running I set up an app_config.xml and all the units started failing with Computation Errors. Don't think my GPUs will be doing anything this month here.

IMHO, 650W is marginal but should work okay. My system with two 7970's pulls 545 Watts (measured) running hard with 1GHz overclock..

Any worthwhile projects for an old 8800GT? And by worthwhile I mean a project that'll give more points that a CPU. tongue.gif
