That's why I said you see it the first time you load the app after install. After that, it thinks the reset is 0. Trixx does the same thing. And both of those apps crash on me from time to time, Trixx is always loading with some glitch, like an entry in Info that's just a string of random characters, or a slider missing. CCC is rock solid for me. But no custom fan curve and no voltage adjust mad.gif

hey guys got the card. i have a reference 290 so i can compare.

The problem is; this card without any trhrottling@1040mhz getting 14200 3dmark 11 gpu score whereas

reference 290 getting 14300 with @977-1250.

Things get interesting when overlocked

reference 290 @ 1190-1600 70.1 valley score
pcs+ 290 @ 1200-1700 65 valley score

reference 290 @ 1190-1600 16400 3dmark 11 gpu score
pcs+ @1190-1600 15400 3dmark score

anyways, i thought it was something with drivers , overlock etc. Did a new system install with latest drivers.
Nothing changed. There seems no problem like, throttling-stuttering etc. Graphics run smooth but it scores lower than reference card.

checked guru3d pcs+ review same happened to him. Their review card scored lower than reference also.

Finally i did flash the card with sapphire trixx bios. Nothing changed still %5-7 lower than it should.

any suggestions_??
thanks

Your Valley score is way too low. Closest clocks I have are 1200/1500 and I get 71.x, repeatable.

Just ran 3dmark11 at stock 1040/1350, graphics score is 14974, same as DA77.

Checked the 3dmark Fire Strike scores also, vs reference. Here are charts that shows the graphics sub score of a reference 290:
CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v80), quality = 90CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v80), quality = 90
http://www.legitreviews.com/nvidia-geforce-gtx-780-ti-video-card-review_128012/8

For reference Fire Strike is 10019, I get 10949.

For reference Fire Strike Extreme is 4676, I get 5080.

So, everything right where it should be.

I did note before though, at the same clocks, my 290 Tri-X benches significantly faster than this Powercolor PCS+. I have no clue what governs the speed of a card, at the same clocks. I assumed it'd be the same, clock for clock. But that's not what I'm seeing. The Tri-X draws a lot more power and benches faster.

don't use the 14s for comparison. stick with the 13s. also, I turn off mse when benching. you need to reduce the amount of background services. turn to windows basic and set the power to performance. in bios, you have to turn off power saving features.

edit: set the power limit to max - 50%. watch your temps on the core and vrms. don't let them go higher than 80C (my standard).

It is kinda low. might be a power issue but not sure. i did a 1200/1600 4.7 ht off . . .

http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/8092864

check all your temps for cpu and gpu at load.
