i did buy one of those so if i decide to sell the card i can at least give a nice chunk of warranty to someone.

btw off topic, did anyone see the msi 290x lightning? its like 899 on newegg, these prices are disgusting
id crossfire one of those and use the powercolor just to game, have one of those babies mining for me

all gpu-z has that, scroll down to look for it, if you dont have readings then its because your graphics card doesnt have heat sensors for it

Did you change your dpi settings to make text larger? That sometimes makes the last couple entries in gpu z disappear. Rest your dpi to default and see of they come back. Afaik all Hawaii cards have vrm temp sensors.

That's a good attitude. I totally get why some are not happy and want an RMA too. But if you're satisfied, great for you. Even if it's underperforming, it's still a really powerful gpu. I don't have it oc'd as far as it will go, it's plenty to run my games at 1440p with most settings maxed and with lower clocks I can run silent fans both on the card and on my case. Silent gaming at this framerate and video quality is a dream. Yeah this is an awesome card, best gpu I've ever owned.

if it performs %10 slower than regular r9 290s, It shouldn't be sold as r9 290 instead maybe it should be marked as r9 285 and should be priced accordingly:thumb:

a 7870 tahiti le chips when overclocked @ 1200mhz almost scores as good as 880mhz 7970
yet 7970 costs triple

when you pay premium price for a r9 290 you expect it to perform as a real 290.
