For me the temps are amazing across the board. Vrm1 at game load is in the 50s usually, peaks at low 60s, with fans maxed at 59%. Like Dr Claw said a side fan makes all the difference when it comes to open air coolers. A bottom fan can be helpful if you don't have a side fan. If you don't have a side fan mount pick up an Akust Magnetic Mount. http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16145/slf-11/Akust_Adjustable_Magnetic_Fan_Bridge_Mounting_Kit_BK00-0107-AKS.html

For gaming clocks of about 1150mhz @ +100mv, the stock is spectacularly good but for when I'm benching at +200mv, vrm1 starts hitting 105C @ even 70% fan speed. I was just wondering if a pad or paste change might help. I think i'll play with it, see if I get any improvements.
I have to admit, that fan mount looks cool, i'll probably get one sometime next week with some fans and see if I get better vrm temps.

i would buy that but my case is too tall, only place it could go is latch the magnet underneath the top of the case where my radiator is installed. but still its about 7 inches, to get to the bottom of my gpu takes about 15 inches so i would need about 20 inches to fit in the fan.

If you guys know any custom side panels let me know plz, would be nice to be able to just mount a fan on the side panel to face the card with an exhaust.

That's an easy mod, just get a drill, rest a fan on the side panel, drill through the mount holes, and then just drill a whole bunch of holes within the boundary created by the mounting holes you just drilled to create a vent. If your case is narrow you can use Prolimatech Ultra Slim Vortex fans, which are 15mm thick and come in 140mm and 120mm sizes. There are 10mm fans you can buy also. Using this method you could also create a series of lateral 80mm holes for even better gpu cooling.

i would but my side panel has glass for the most part, i would need a whole new side panel custom fitted for my case without the glass and then i could mod it.

I wouldn't get a PCS+ to put underwater. Waste of one of the best aftermarket cooler designs plus some people's are not benching as high as reference models.

I didn't know that well they are one of the cheapest ones available and it'd be a couple months before I do drop them in water but I don't mind they look beautiful.

Hey Guys,

This is Raymond from PowerColor, we were contacted before about performance issue with a small batch of cards. We have a bios update now that fixes the performance issue. To get the bios update, please email me with the EAN code, Serial Number and Model number. Basically all the sticker number on the back of the card. The bios will be released on a per case basis, so please do not release it publicly as it might damage other graphic card. You can email me directly at Raymond.Hsu@powercolor.com.

Best Regards,
Raymond
