Lol! Anywho I don't get the whole Hybrid concept. Either you go full waterblock or you don't. The guys that Watercool do it for a reason. They don't drop $150 on a waterblock and sit back and think "this block needs fans". Than there's the air cool crowd, they don't want to Watercool otherwise they would've!

Can't make everyone happy so you have to choose one side and make it the best damn product to represent the RoG name. Kind've like what evga does. Why spend more money on Research and Development just to put out a product that's only 50% vs. traditional.

To tell you the truth i havent try to stop them because with the water loop it has never go more than 40 degrres so it is extremly quite. idle is about 23-24 degrees and after 3-4 ''Valley bench'' it will go up to 39-40 degrees. The formula idle is about 26 degrees and goes up to 32 degrees and the 4770k over@ 4.5 with 1.3vcore idle is about 23 degrres and after 1 hour of ''aida64 stress test it will go up to 58 degrees pick and will drop and stablised to 49 degrres.

Did I mention I returned my Formula and decided to stick to my current Sabertooth?

Also, did I mention I regret this decision every once in a while?
And yes, this is such a time. wink.gif

Hey guys. I'm a new Formula owner with a question. After building my new rig, and powering it up, I noticed that the ROG light in the center of the motherboard lit up and had a "breathing" effect where it would slowly light up and fade off. But after I installed Windows 7 and then shutdown, the light just stays lit full time. If I turn the power supply off and then back on, the breathing effect is activated. But if I shutdown from Windows, the breathing effect is gone, and the light stays lit. How can I get it to have the breathing effect after a Windows shutdown?

New build starring max 6 extreme and tri 780! Had an extra m6f SB block laying around and luckily fits the extreme perfectly! Too bad the formula doesn't support tri sli.
