...LOL @ that

about a 1300 point increase in my 3d mark score says so ....how else does a card *magicly gain that much w/ no clock increase.
im still tuning the card ATM, its in the high 6000's and still improving.

First step to unlocking your 7600....

1. DL the newest version of rivatuner and install...you can get it @-> www.guru3d.com

2. When first setting up Rivatuner, you will encoutnter this screen
->Attachment 38689 click on the arrow to open the tab to this
Attachment 38690 check the three boxes in, then click apply.

3. look for the customize tab and click to open the menu, what you will see is this-> Attachment 38691

4. look for 'pixel-units' labeled as disabled. clicking in the first tab will make a check-mark and 'enable' the change through registry values. click apply and then ok.

5. verify the change by looking at your 'selection' of enabled hardware units...like this->Attachment 38692. click apply and ok...you will be prompted to restart your computer....CONGRATS your done.

*Make sure you have Rivatuner set to -> Run at startup, so this features is enabled everytime you start windows. Now to run some benchies before you change your clock speeds...you will notice the difference!

*Last I will show you how to 'open' the extended clock range in Rivatuner, to clock wayyyy past "acceptable" limits. Keep in mind, the 'Test' function will still be enabled...so you cannot set a clock speed your card will not 'pass' at, {this feature is also able to be turned off...more on that later}
-> go to the power user tab and look for the following.. Bart, Krusty, Homer
Attachment 38693 ...right clock to change to values to a 'shiny' light bulb...and wallah.....save your entries. Now go back to the clock frequency section. You will notice you are able to clock up to 800mhz on the core and 2ghz and the mem....hope you get there before me.

Good 'clocking...
