To be honest an onboard graphics chip won't give you nice framerates no matter how high you overclock it, in fact I'd be surprised if you gain any more than 2 or 3 frames per second by overclocking it, but run some games at stock and then at your maximum overclock and see if there really is a difference.

I agree...The thing is...it uses the ram memory from your pc and thus it won't really improve if you overclock since the ram always run at the same speed!

i dont think my system has on board graphics does it?as i hav a gpu in a pci express slot??

O ok...well...you do have a graphics then! But you'd be better of getting a newer card maybe a 7600gt! I don't know much about the 7300 series

so how can i improve what i have already this pc cost me 550 quid!!was told it was good.could i just buy a good gpu??if so what do you recommend??

You can buy a brand new gpu for $100...even on ebay in the UK you will find a good deal! It's really easy to install too!

from what i am hearing about 7300 their a pipe of poop!

the guy at pc world said the higher the mbs the better the graphics ie 512mb is the best(well was at the time).he also said i can run bf2 at full.found this not to be true.can only run on low and thats ONLY just.gggrrr.any who thanks for your help.

If he honestly said that; he should be fired. There is absolutely no way, any on board graphics solution will be able to run BF2 on medium/low...let alone high.

The amount of memory on the GPU actually doesn't mean that much.

A 256mb X1950PRO is much better than a 512mb X1600PRO. A 128mb 6600GT is much better than a 512mb 7300LE.
