A 256mb X1950PRO is much better than a 512mb X1600PRO. A 128mb 6600GT is much better than a 512mb 7300LE.
well im going to complain about the guy.so which gpu will run bf2 and 2142 at full with no problems.ive been told the 7600 gt will do this fine.also i only have a 250w max psu

New PSU. Immediately. You will not run anything at the highest setting with a 250W PSU and you will only damage whatever card you decide to get. I don't know if any non-integrated cards still available run at under 250W supply. You must upgrade.

I'd spend a little money on a 500Watt power supply then go out and get either an X1650XT, a 7900GS or an X1950Pro

There is a big connector that connects from your power supply to your motherboard...You can just count the amount of holes....but you can also buy a 20 pin connector psu for a 24 pin motherboard
