Programming, gaming and a bit of editing monitor(s)

I am looking for a new monitor. To be honest I am a bit keen for a 29" monitor, but due to fear of compatibility, I am not limited to that.

I found the following ones so far:
AOC I2769Vm for around 200 pounds
AOC Q2963PM for 280 pounds
Philips 274E5QHAW for around 200 pounds

I also found Acer 236Dbd quite interesting, as it costs a bit more than 100 pounds and on papers at least, sounds great.

If I stretch my budget, I can go for a Dell U2414H now and add another one later or a 29" Dell/LG/Asus monitor.

Thanks!

Also looking for a new monitor for the near future, that ACER one (Acer 236Dbd) looks like pretty good value.

Indeed it looks like that. I think it is a Packard Bell monitor, sold under Acer name (as Acer owns PB). Dunno about actual colours reproduction.

Check out the Yamakasi DS270 SE 27" AH-IPS monitor 200 GBP ($330).
Would need to have a graphics card with a DVI dual-link connection.

I found the Acer one at a local PCWord. It is quite good for its' money. However the viewing angles are awful and a lot glossy.

Thanks. I will have a look. I got a 290X, which I think has a dual-link DVI.

I also found some LG ones quite interesting.
