well if its the stock cooler, don't they use the thermal pad? If so I am pretty sure most of them have a piece of plastic over the pad. Did you remove that?

Mine didn't have any plastic over the pad, but then again, I got straight to work removing that pad and replacing it with AS5!

1.376 is too high - stock is only 1.325.. reduce it to 1.1v and try again

What kind did you buy separately? Make sure its thermal PASTE and not adhesive like another member made the mistake.


OH I forgot another big thing. Are your vcore volts on AUTO? If so that can cause your temps to soar sky high.

Alright like I said, go into bios and see what your vcore volts are set to. If they are on auto, take them off, and switch it to like 1.25 just to be safe.
