Just an FYI - TAT creates higher 100% load temps than most other programs.

So at a normal "everyday" 100% load, you'd probably only be at about 45c.

Make sure you keep it under 55c at full load, and under 60c when loading it with TAT.

That doesn't seem to be the case with me. Core Temp and TAT are within 3 degrees or so of each other.

coretemp doesnt load the CPU. it just reads the temp. and TAT loads as well as reads the temp. and both apps read from the cores so it shouldnt be that far apart.

i load (using TAT) around 60C. using orthos i load around 53C (using tat to read temps)

oh and i OCed my 6600 by 50% easily.
