Google will let you explore space - Page 3

It's stated in the article that google probably will start up some advertisement or something. That's how they'll make money. I'm also guessing that they'll do different subscriptions for the detail, or how far into space you can go.

They'll probably have a couple versions of Google Space, like Professional edition and stuff like Google Earth.

Anyways, I can't wait. Google is amazing, they're going to take over the world one day.

They'll probably have to limit it to within the solar system or our galaxy.... it is impossible to map the entire universe.
This is not exactly a small thing. Somehow I doubt that any exec in their right mind will green-light an inherently money-losing project that is google earth times a couple thousand. 30TB/day of data would cost a fortune to store and much more to collect - even google isn't that rich.

i think this is a great idea that google is pursuing. we need to start moving to the stars, i think that google, microsoft, and other giant companys should work with nasa or somthing and help with the moon base porject. i'm sure with there money we could have a moon base in no time!
