Is it a blue screen error or are you getting an application error?

Go Start -> Run... -> eventvwr

Take a look to see if there are any system or application errors that occur around the time of you crashes. Post back with what the errors are, and what is causing them.

Could be a few things. could be a memory error. could be the old worm/virus that could cause your computer to error and reboot.

Your best bet would be, going into your admin tools, event viewer, system and figure out what is causing it to error out and reboot.

You also might want to set your system to not reboot on errors, which is at:
control panel->system->Avanced
then in the Startup and Recovery box, click on the only box, Settings.
then under 'System Failure' is a box called 'Automatically restart', make sure it's unchecked.

You can also tell it to not write debugging stuff if you'd like. But make sure 'Write an Event to the system log' is checked.

But it sounds to me like you have a bad memory module, that's what happened to me when I got some bad memory before that wasn't picked up by the bios.
