My last 3 cases have been Lian Li which has spread over nearly 10 yrs of service - love them tongue.gif

Guys has anyone attempted to cut out the fan mesh on the rear of the case? Lian Li D600

Left bottom of picture.

I am starting to find the holes been a bit of a restriction to the air flow out of my 420rad in the back. I am just wondering is it worth cutting that area out for better airflow out off the case?

thumb.gif post some pics if you cut yours out... I used a jigsaw with a fine metal blade. Whizzed right through it. I actually used the rad grill as a template for the hole (Primochill acrylic Radz)

Thanks for the info. Ye weird how restrictive the air flow is there, would of thought it to be ok. I will post some pics as soon as i get into it. Waiting on some Noktia fans to do a push pull on the back like you have.

Hey Guys

An Update for you all. What a major difference in cutting out that small hole mesh of the Lian Li case.
The air flow was like a 100% better after. I then installed a push pull config and WOW thumb.gif
you can see i did a cut out to the edge of the old mesh holes and then got a new open style grid for the back of the case to finish it off. The major plus to this was the airflow. Dont know why Lian Li used such small holes for rear air flow.

Also receaved my cables and did a few changes in the system as i received my block for my GTX card. Looking cool i hope you guys like the color change. Check out my pics. smile.gif

Nice build, might be better to use a set of fans which are the same model / brand in your push pull thumb.gif
