Looking for input on wall mount rack for dvrs and audio system

Don't know if this is the appropriate section for my case, anyways here it is.

A friend of mine has a pair of dvrs, plus an audio system, lying as shown in the pictures. As you can see it's a pretty messy knot. There are also a modem, a router and another similar device in the middle of that mess. He asked me to organize everything in a rack; I was thinking about an open wall mount rack, which would go in the wall "depression" where everything is lying on. The power supplies for the cameras and the other 2 devies on the left mounted to the wall can be displaced further to the left or right to make space for the rack.

I would really appreciate if you guys could give me any tips on how to go about this, I have never mounted stuff in racks and don't even know where to look for one.

The dvrs and the audio system are roughly 17 inches wide, don't know about the depth though, I'd figure around 19 inches.

Any input will be appreciated!

I had no idea where to put the thread redface.gif

I don't think you need an engineering degree to mount stuff in racks. They come pre-built in a huge variety of sizes and many different features tongue.gif

Are wall mount racks adjustable in width?

the ones i have seen on TV trucks are. the only reason i mentioned engineers is because my only experience being around wall racks was helping TV engineers build broadcasting trucks. not that you need to be an engineer to put together a wall mount rack. just that those are the guys i see working with and on them for broadcasting
