@BradleyW, is it FXAA on or off?

Was the TressFX issue using SLI ever fixed?

What does Exclusive Fullscreen really do? I'm reading that it messes up the TressFX for the hair or something.

Also, what FPS monitoring software do you use? I'm trying to use the FPS OSD of EVGA Precision X but it seems to be fluctuating wildly when I use it.

Quality CUSTOM
Texture Quality: ULTRA
Texture Filter: ANTISOTROPIC 16X
Anti-Aliasing: FXAA
Shadows: HIGH
Shadow Resolution: HIGH
Level of Detail: HIGH
Post Processing: ON
Tessellation: ON
High Precision: OFF
Hair Quality: NORMAL (TressFX OFF)
Reflections: HIGH
Depth of Field: HIGH
SSAO: ULTRA

Also, "Exclusive Full Screen" means full screen.
"Full screen" means border-less full screen.
For SLI and CFX to work, you require Exclusive Full Screen.
To monitor fps, fraps is always a safe bet. I use RadeonPro or MSI AB RivaTuner.

Hope all this helps.

Thanks! When does one need borderless full screen?

And is Precision X known to cause problems in-game when I enable its OSD to monitor things like GPU temps, usage, etc.?

for me the optimum settings with all the eye candy 'On' while maintaining almost 60 fps is this :

I turned off the DOF because I don't like the 'bokeh' effect.

funny thing is, the most performance hit for my system, comes from the LOD not from TressFX, if I set it to Ultra (TressFX 'off'), the fps just tanks to 38-ish in some area, e.g, 'Mountain Village'

note that my GPUs just won't boost to max with LOD ultra, also there're plenty of threads available on my CPU. So this LOD ultra is puzzling me confused.gif

for comparison, this is with TressFX 'On' & LOD set to normal, the fps dip to 50-ish, which is higher compare to LOD ultra :

note that my GPUs boost to its max limit, also the CPU usage is slightly higher compare to LOD ultra setting.

I still use the old patch, because the 1.01.748 patch gives lower performance to my single GPU and has the annoying octagon shapes sun sprites.

btw I'm still on 1280x1024 res tongue.gif

No worries on the settings because I've finished the game already, haha.
