Especially about warranties. I just purchased one of there 780 it's. Card runs a little ward for me but if I remove my cooler it voids the warranty. I used to deal solely with EVGA boards but switched red along time ago. But I liked there warranties.

Oh man, that is a bummer.  I loved my Galaxy 670 GC.

[edit]

Oh, nothing to see here.

It's clear from the previous posts that the headline needs to be changed on this topic to reflect the fact that the [H] article is incorrect. Can OP or a mod make that happen?

How is the ASUS RMA process? Is their customer support good?

On warranties: Nobody should learn anything from ASUS. Their RMA department doesn't actually exist, because to be classified as such, it would have to provide warranty support and service for people, which they do not do in a significant and unacceptable number of cases.

On engineering: Asus and Evga are the best there are. ASUS makes great products and so does EVGA really. Shame that one couldn't care less about the customer while one will bend over backwards for one.

I've recently dealt with Asus RMA and it was a good experience overall. Not quite as good as EVGA, but I would agree with coach with regards to Asus' engineering. I've continually been impressed by their designs, and I still love their motherboards and GPUs. I haven't really had a bad experience with them in terms of CS, except many years ago when I called them and their reps couldn't really speak English all too well. Fortunately, the last time I called them (recently) they seem to be much more fluent in English. LOL.

Asus and Customer Service should never be mentioned in the same sentence.  (darn, I just did it).
