Nope. I asked them If any update is planned. And in another ticket I asked them if they knew a date when the SS-Engine 3-SDK would come out (cuz they wrote it on their page of the Engine 3 that it'll be released in 2014)...

Response was
Quote:
"There are no plans to release an SDK for SteelSeries Engine 3."

Quote from the Engine-page
Quote:
"SDK
In 2014 we will launch our Software Development Kit that will allow third party applications and game publishers to directly communicate with Engine 3 and your devices for unlimited possibilities."

No response on the feature part... So I guess I'll be more happy with the Mionix.

EDIT: Yes, I'm really mad cuz of the feature-part of the Rival.

Cmon it's more than two months available. SS aims for the gamers. And they havn't added every feature the sensor is able to adjust.. Buggy firmwares that do not receive updates and so on.

They're definitely solid mice. I really dig both my Avior 7000 and Naos 7000, but for different purposes. They really cover both palm and claw grip styles well with both of those shell types.

So SS Engine 3.2 was released recently (it's the one with the new cloud sync feature).
Have they fixed the CPI switching bug? Has anyone tried the new driver?

Edit: By the way, is the firmware version 0.153.0.0 bugged? Because I never updated it and it was on 0.153.0.0 when I bought it...

Oh that's a shame... what firmware version was it? Also did you manage to roll back to the good firmware?
it was the newest firmware version 1.2.0.0.
now im using the old one (150.0.0.0) again from the software version 3.1.4 and it works fine...

Don't notice anything.
A swipe over the whole mousepad is still a 180 turn.
