Post your Super PI score - Page 11

Here is mine with the stock Newark. I can shave 2 seconds off if I adjust memory timings to 2-2-2-2T, but because of the first 2 it becomes unstable. My meory is sold as value ram, although it performs better than value ram.

Soon though, we will try and encompass the SSE3 enabled Super Pi as well, but for now, simple straightforward Super Pi is what we're using

Welcome to the forums Jeppe

Are you running your cpu and ram 1:1 ? (meaning, ram is also running 240 FSB?) if not, you should try to get it to run 1:1...and lower those timings if you can!

I get 39 seconds at 2.6 with craptastic ram and an Athlon XP...you better be gettin lower

btw, are you only running super pi? or are there other things going on at the same time?

xave does running it 1:1 lower the timings? How about 3:4? Because my ram is 533mhz. DDR400 on my mobo is 1:1 while DDR533 is 3:4. Help Meh!

Intel, what FSB are you running, and what does CPUz same your ram speed is at when you run super pi?

If you are running ~266 FSB, and CPU-Z says your ram is running at 266 (DDR533) then you are at 1:1...no problems

In bios though, it may read something like "DDR400 (1:1)"...thats at stock speed, and will increase as your raise FSB (but the DDR400 label will stay the same)

Running 1:1 does not lower your timings, but increases performance. Usually running a divider can lower timings, but hurt your performance so much so that it doesnt make sense to keep it on a divider.
