Your ram is rated to run much higher than 200Mhz, I think 27gMhz is what its rated speed would be. Meaning that your stock timings should be valid up to 275Mhz. Mine for example is PC3200 meaning that its stock timings of 2-2-2-5 are only "valid" up to 200Mhz. So if I want to push past 200 I would need to loosen the timing and/or add more juice. The memory divider is another way to limit the frequency of the memory. With a divider of 5:4 I could run my HTT @ 250Mhz while keeping the memory @ 200Mhz.

That calculator link that I posted just helps out with showing you what speeds you can get by doing all of the math for you. It isn't that special, just saves a lot of time.

We did get waaay off topic. Sorry bout that.

Wow...just goes to show that AMD's like memory timings mroe than intels. Going from 3-8-4-4 to 2-5-3-3 only gives me 1second less on PI

I'd love to shave "just" 1 second off my score.

Had another go but I will get better. Still not optimized the system & on old ram. I haven't even re-installed windows after the new M/B & CPU.
